The State of Rosé

From time to time, I get to write stories for Beverage Testing Institute, one of the drinks industry’s foremost authorities on what’s hot and what’s not in wine, spirits, beer and non-alc drinks from around the planet.

I participate in tasting panels at BTI on the regular and this is where I get to taste and evaluate the good the bad and the ugly. Sometimes we win, with killer wines from Bordeaux or high-end California wines or really good reds from Bulgaria – and sometimes we lose with wines from areas, like – oh, I don’t know – Peru, Iowa, or Wisconsin (this is how you learn that it takes time and practice to grow great grapes and make great wine).

But I digress! I’ve got a fun new story up on Bevtest.com and you can see it HERE ! If you know me, you know I get freaking excited about almost anything pink, which is why the state of rosé is so great right now . It’s year ’round, and I am here for it. Have a read! And then have some rosé!

BTW, I do love this Kind of Wild Rosé of Syrah and Grenache from France. Under $30 and a total porch pounder.
